About.

The Textile Playbook is written by one person, with help from a few well-trained machines.

I’m Zoltán — an engineer by training, based in Germany. I ran innovation inside a large corporation, then went independent: advising organizations on business models and operations, and lately building things of my own. Along the way I co-authored published research on why startups fail.

The textile part isn’t theory. I’ve worked with multiple textile clients and overseen orders end to end — inquiry, sampling, pricing, production, shipping. Somewhere north of five thousand orders have crossed my desk personally; I stopped counting a while ago.

This playbook exists because along the way I watched agencies pay invoices they didn’t have to. The knowledge wasn’t secret — it just wasn’t written down in one place. Now it is, and it stays free.

If a lesson saved you money, the best thanks is to tell me about it — real numbers from real orders are what keep the benchmarks honest.
